pssst, I'm procrastinating |

Ok, so I should be doing a PowerPoint that I need to present next week. I decided to get up to date with my Clan Beowulf cookies, admin access to the site, etc.
I recently upgraded to Win7 Ultimate. Ya... LOVE IT. With the upgrade, I started reinstalling my games. I realized something real quick, server stored information rocks. What I mean by "server stored" is you install a small app locally, then after logging in, all your information is downloaded to your computer.
The relationship between Outlook and Exchange is a great example of this. As soon as I loaded Outlook 2007 on my computer, I input the Exchange server information. Then all my storage folders, emails, contacts, tasks, calendar all populated. GREAT!!!
Before loading my games, I loaded Steam client. I logged in and checked the games I might play. Man, that's the way to go. No searching for discs, register codes, etc. The whole Steam process works so slick, I decided to spend the money to unify my old games. Translation.... I repurchased them on Steam. Mainly it was old iD games that I purchased. They had a good deal on an iD pack. Maybe I'll never play Quake II again, but hey... I have it on Steam!
At first I didn't see much value in Steam. I'm liking it much better now.
